Account details. When you register, we store your email address and the display name on your account. If you sign in with Google, Microsoft or Facebook, we also record which of those sign-in methods your account uses.

Reviews and media. When you post a review, we store your rating, the price range you selected, your written comment, and any photos or videos you upload of the completed project, along with the display name shown on the review.

Saved contractors. When you save a contractor, we store that contractor's reference on your account.

Forms. When you use the contact form or the request to add a contractor, we store the details you enter, which may include your name, email address, phone number, message, and any logo or namecard image you upload.

Account information is used to sign you in, show your profile, and display your reviews and saved contractors to you.

Reviews, ratings and the media attached to them are used to build the public contractor profiles on the site.

Form submissions are used to reply to you, to review reports about reviews, and to consider contractors for inclusion in the directory.

Reviews are public. Your rating, comment, photos, videos and the display name shown on the review are visible to anyone visiting the site.

Contractor profiles are public. The directory displays the business information held about each contractor, which may include the company name, address, contact number, email address, website and social media page.

Your email address is not shown publicly. Other visitors cannot see it.

If you choose to sign in with Google, Microsoft or Facebook, the sign-in is handled by that provider. We receive the account details needed to create and identify your account, and we do not receive or store your password for those services.

The site stores your selected language and your sign-in session in your browser so the site works as expected between visits. Clearing your browser data removes these.

You can remove a review you have written at any time from your profile. Removing a review takes it off the site so nobody can see it, and we keep its record on file.

You can request deletion of your account from your profile. Your account, your saved contractors and your reviews are then removed, which takes 1 to 2 business days.
